About:
Vintage arcade. Street art. Food truck inspired menu. Gringo Star brought a unique and memorable space to Tempe’s iconic Mill Avenue district just one block from ASU’s football stadium. Conceptualized during senior year of college, Gringo was the perfect mix of casual bites, vintage games, and edgy art from local favorites. What is considered by both managing partners to be the business’ greatest accomplishment is it’s revered culture: More than 10 employees went on to either own their own establishment or hold general manager positions at other establishments. Gringo Star became known in the local restaurant and bar scene as a place to find upper management talent.
The business was sold in 2018.
